Ingredients:
1 tomato
4 - 5 ajwain leaves (thoroughly washed and cleaned)
Curry leaves
Coriander leaves
1 green chilly / red chilly
1/2 tsp haldi
a pinch of hing
salt as required
1 tsp cumin seeds, 1/2 tsp pepper corns and 1 tsp coriander seeds - all crushed/ground together
Method:
Blend the tomato, ajwain leaves, green chillies and curry leaves into a soft paste.
In a vessel, heat some oil. Add mustard seeds and hing. Add the ground tomato paste and stir-fry it for few minutes. Add haldi and water as per your requirement for a thin consistency. Add salt and bring it to a boil. Add the ground spices and coriander leaves and simmer for two to three minutes. Serve hot with rice.
